Dr. Lim Quan

Dr. Lim Quan grew up in the Chicagoland area. After graduating salutatorian at Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois, she attended Northwestern University for a combined six-year undergraduate bachelors of science and medical degree. After medical school, she completed a year of internal medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s medical center in Chicago.

She went on to Mayo Clinic Rochester for three years of dermatology residency. She stayed on at Mayo Clinic for an additional one year fellowship specializing in Mohs and dermatologic surgery.

After training, she was offered the opportunity to work at Mayo Clinic Arizona in Scottsdale. She became assistant professor of dermatology and served as faculty for twelve years, including chair of the division of dermatologic surgery for five years.

Dr. Lim Quan is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has been a fellow of the American College of Moh’s Surgery, whose requirements include qualified fellowship training and a significant number of logged surgical cases.

Dr. Lim Quan is married to Derek Quan, who is a pastor at Greater Phoenix Chinese Christian Church. They are blessed with three children who bring much joy to their lives.
