Dr. Jenna Wald

Dr. Jenna Wald, MD, FAAD, FACMS graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors program at the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree.  She went on to earn her medical degree with research distinction from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.  Upon graduating, she was selected to participate in a year-long fellowship in Clinical Trials in Dermatology at the University of Connecticut where she studied groundbreaking medications in development.  She completed her dermatology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.  Due to her passion for surgical dermatology and treatment of skin cancer, she then completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indiana. She is currently double board-certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. 

During her training, Dr. Wald was honored with many academic and community accolades, including being inducted into the University of North Dakota Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.  She also served in many leadership roles on local, regional, and national societies, including positions in the Iowa State Medical Society, and Association of American Medical Colleges.  She was also active in volunteering with shelters and medical facilities for women and children. 

Dr. Wald has been practicing in the Phoenix Valley since 2019.  During this time she has completed thousands of surgical procedures.  Dr. Wald strives to provide each and every patient with the best care possible; treating each patient as if they were family.  

When she is not helping patients or training her dog Henrietta, she enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, and participating in book club.  She is always eager to hear a good “dad joke” or book recommendation!
